Open Borders Costing American Jobs and Depressing Wages!

The most recent jobs report proclaimed that 288,000 new jobs were created and that unemployment dipped to 6.1%. The Obama Administration’s portrayal of the report as indicative of an economic recovery is more disingenuous rhetoric from a President and administration that was trained by the likes of the SEIU and Bill Ayres. Much like the misinformation spewed by big labor during Corporate Campaigns to force unionize employees, the intent is to bedazzle the naïve, uninformed and easily misled with propaganda designed to achieve its goals. The misleading jobs report cited by the Administration, as well as the President’s refusal to address the concern of our open borders, is reminiscent of Bill Ayer’s tactics except, instead of lobbing bombs, the President uses flowery and misleading rhetoric to achieve the destruction of the nation’s work force and economy! Conveniently, the jobs report failed to identify that the net 288,000 jobs consists of approximately 500,000 full-time jobs lost and replaced by 788,000 part-time jobs, realistically providing less take home pay for employees and failing to qualify them for the mandates of employer-provided health care insurance. Thank you Affordable Care Act (ACA)!
Despite the fact practically all other countries in the world have strict immigration penalties for illegal immigration, President Obama has failed to address the issue, magnifying the economic nightmare. Illegal immigration places a heavy burden on American taxpayers in the form of increased entitlement spending, public school funding, higher health care costs, loss of American jobs and lower wages for American workers. This is summed up succinctly in Ray Stevens video on Illegal Immigration - Come to the USA. Why would President Obama favor such a position and call for passage of the DREAM Act? Why would President Obama ask Congress for $3.7B to handle child migrants? The answer is simple, he is pandering for votes for the upcoming mid-term election and mollifying his big labor base who sees future union members, while further implementing his “Cloward and Piven” strategy of overwhelming the system and collapsing the economy (see Congressman: Yes, Barack Obama is Intentionally Destroying the United States). Americans, however, are waking up to the truth. 46% Believe Obama Administration Has Encouraged Young Illegal Immigrants To Come, and even Democrats are becoming skeptical (see Dem. Congressman: ‘Floored Me’ to See Obama Shoot Pool Rather than Visit Border). Unfortunately, it is not just children crossing the border, but also thousands of adults looking for both work in the Under Ground Economy and access to American entitlements.
The immediate impact of this open border policy combined with the ACA and a sluggish economy -- as supported by the first quarter 2.9% negative GDP growth -- is placed squarely on the backs of legitimate American workers. Despite the President’s claim to be supportive of American workers through his call for a national minimum wage of $10.10/hour, and his support of his SEIU labor buddies call for $15.00/hour wages for fast food employees in its Fast Food Forward campaign, the President’s initiatives are resulting in a spike in misclassification of workers across the country by companies illegally utilizing undocumented workers to fill positions to avoid health care costs and higher government imposed wages. Ironically, companies doing business legally with integrity and honesty are penalized and so are their employees, as they must reduce wages and number of employees or hours to remain competitive in the market place. The President subsequently blames the free market for the problem instead of his own actions! The question that must be explored is whether this is the result of unintended consequences or intentional destruction of the American economy?
My company has experienced the results of the President’s agenda in the form of lost jobs, as companies who use undocumented workers as misclassified independent contractors steal business from legitimate companies. These companies have a 20% or more cost advantage as they generally pay piece work wages. “Piece work” is a set rate per day or week, which requires a person to work as many hours as it takes to clean a certain area to obtain expected results. This often results in much less than minimum wage, no overtime pay and, since they are misclassified as independent contractors, there are no payroll taxes, social security or insurance costs (see Misclassification of Workers, Common Ground or Hot Bed of Greed). We have experienced two recent examples in the west and in the south where such companies bid significantly lower and, because of these cost advantages, “stole” the business through their illegal activity. Even worse is the fact that American employees end up being the real losers as this illegal activity, which is basically ignored and arguably condoned by this administration, artificially lowers wages for all Americans including the union members whom he claims to support!
It is painfully evident that this President cares little for the American worker or the future of America, as noted in The Devil at Our Doorstep. The rhetoric of the President and his big labor buddies that they are fighting for the American worker is disingenuous and despicable! If the President truly cared for the American worker he would use the military to seal the border immediately instead of ordering the Feds to Bring in Riot Squad Against Illegal Immigration Protesters. If he truly cared for the American worker he would require all illegal immigrants to register immediately (see The Senate Immigration Law Hurts All Americans). However, this will not happen if America does not wake up, because the real agenda is the destruction of this great country as we know it and implementation of Rule by Fiat! The answer to the question above is Be Afraid America, Be Very Afraid, as The Decline of American Exceptionalism is at hand and the O-Cloward-Piven Strategy Is Working!

Black Nightmare, the American Dream Act

By Dr. Ada Fisher
What are black leaders, the NAACP and others thinking about in supporting or standing quiet on legislation which gives those who are not citizen’s rights on par with those who are? Promoting those non-citizens between 18-40, who were brought to this nation as a child through no action or fault of their own, as deserving of preference to stay in this nation does continue to relegate to the back of the bus two groups of citizens who were not immigrants to this nation -- Native Americans were here to begin with meaning America could not have been discovered by Christopher Columbus and African Americans were forcibly brought to this country as slaves for cheap labor.

I appreciate that the job of the President is to represent all of the people; however, the often benign neglect shown to concerns of Native Americans and Black Americans in the actions of a black man, Barack Hussein Obama is sad. The stimulus packages of more than a trillion dollars ignored the plight of many of our communities as well as those of urban America. The lack of an appointment of a black female to the Supreme Court says that these appointments remain highly political and that for a population which gave Mr. Obama 96%+ of their vote, there would be no quid pro quo as has been done for liberals, Hispanics and gays. The closing of the regional offices the Minority Business Development Agency of the Small Business Administration which deals substantially with minority affairs should be of concern to these struggling communities in need of economic assistance. As our communities are squandered in some measure by the dissolution of traditional marriages with over half of our children born out of wedlock, the Obama Administration supports Gay Marriage. Giving preference or squatter’s rights to those 800,000 illegal immigrants who are not citizens, puts them in direct competition with many unemployed people and minority youth for what few limited jobs are available. It also allows those here illegally in their child bearing years, the right to have children in this country who will become citizens.

Though highly critical of George W. Bush, Guantanamo, troop withdrawals from Iraq, the capture of Bin Laden and other things, the Obama Administration takes credit for any positives here for all efforts begun on Bush’s watch. Even the Obama Administration’s modifications proposed to The No Child Left Behind Act are a ‘black’ wash of the best of Bush’s ideas. That the black population largely allows Mr. Obama a pass without asking what are his policies doing to this nation and the opportunities for citizens of color, says we aren’t putting Nation and Citizens First. What say ye of the Congressional Black Caucus who jumped on the Trayvon Martin case before the evidence was tried, but won’t publicly get in on these bits of data which impact us all?

Unfortunately the picture being painted is one of continued pandering for votes and neglect by democrats and republicans of minorities unless Spanish speaking. The attempts to administratively elevate gay concerns to that of a civil right often do an injustice to the cause of civil rights for people of color. The election of a black man as president of the United States of America was supposed to prove that the American Dream was within the reach of all. We now know better. We have waited our turn and are again drawing the short straw which means our interests are again being sacrificed on the altar of political expediency.

THE DREAM ACT SETS MY HAIR ON FIRE BIG TIME!!
Contact your elected offical today, tell them NO amnesty
for illegals.

DREAM Act Will Cost Taxpayers $6.2 Billion
The Dream Act All 42 Senate Republicans have signed a letter to Reid advising all will vote against cloture on any and everything in lame duck. They demand dealing only with funding the govt and extending current tax rates.
Rewards breaking the law. American Politicians are fools, who believe in screwing over the American taxpayer while rewarding the invaders of America."The DREAM act would benefit students who are currently undocumented {ILLEGAL} in the United States of America. The Dream Act is based upon earned legalization {Amnesty}".

1. How could anyone assume no fraud, every time an illegal is enrolled in school, goes to the hospital, collects welfare or any entitlement they are commenting fraud.

2. The taxpayer is expected to pay for subsidy for an illegal to attend college, when a citizen would required to get a student loan and pay it back. Is there something wrong with this thinking?

3. They can go only a portion of the time to receive subsidies and forego amnesty.

WASHINGTON YOU MUST STOP THE MADNESS, AMERICANS CANNOT AFFORD TO EDUCATE, FEED AND CLOTH THE WORLD. Personal Responsibility and the governments must take responsibility for their own citizens.
The US government WITHOUT the consent of its citizens already sends Trillions of dollars in foreign aid to countries around the world. The majority who hate America. Is America run by idiots? be ###
DREAM Act Will Cost Taxpayers $6.2 Billion

Act Likely to Adversely Affect American College Students
WASHINGTON (December 1, 2010) – A new report from the Center for Immigration Studies examines the costs and likely impact of the DREAM Act currently being considered by Congress. The act offers permanent legal status to illegal immigrants up to age 35, who arrived in the United States before age 16, provided they complete two years of college. Under the act, beneficiaries would receive in-state tuition. Given the low income of illegal immigrants, most can be expected to attend state schools, with a cost to taxpayers in the billions of dollars. As both funds and slots are limited at state universities and community colleges, the act may reduce the educational opportunities available to U.S. citizens.
Assuming no fraud, we conservatively estimate that 1.03 million illegal immigrants will eventually enroll in public institutions (state universities or community colleges) as a result of the DREAM Act. That is, they met the residence and age requirements of the act, have graduated high school, or will do so, and will come forward.
On average each illegal immigrant who attends a public institution will receive a tuition subsidy from taxpayers of nearly $6,000 for each year he or she attends for total cost of $6.2 billion a year, not including other forms of financial assistance that they may also receive.
The above estimate is for the number who will enroll in public institutions. A large share of those who attend college may not complete the two full years necessary to receive permanent residence.
The cost estimate assumes that the overwhelming majority will enroll in community colleges, which are much cheaper for students and taxpayers than state universities.
The estimate is only for new students not yet enrolled. It does not include illegal immigrants currently enrolled at public institutions or those who have already completed two years of college. Moreover, it does not include the modest number of illegal immigrants who are expected to attend private institutions.
The DREAM Act does not provide funding to states and counties to cover the costs it imposes. Since enrollment and funding are limited at public institutions, the act’s passage will require some combination of tuition increases, tax increases to expand enrollment or a reduction in spaces available for American citizens at these schools.
Tuition hikes will be particular difficult for students, as many Americans already find it difficult to pay for college. Research indicates that one out of three college students drop out before receiving a degree. Costs are a major reason for the high dropout rate.
In 2009 there were 10.2 million U.S. citizens under age 35 who have dropped out of college without receiving a degree. There was an additional 15.2 million citizens under age 35 who have completed high school, but have never attended college.
Lawmakers need to consider the strains the DREAM Act will create and the impact of adding one roughly million students to state universities and community colleges on the educational opportunities available to American citizens.
Providing state schools with added financial support to offset the costs of the DREAM Act would avoid the fiscal costs at the state and local level, but it would shift the costs to federal taxpayer.
Advocates of the DREAM Act argue that it will significantly increase tax revenue, because with a college education, recipients will earn more and pay more in taxes over their lifetime. However, several factors need to be considered when evaluating this argument:
Any hoped-for tax benefit is in the long-term, and will not help public institutions deal with the large influx of new students the act creates in the short-term.
Given limited spaces at public institutions, there will almost certainly be some crowding out of U.S. citizens ─ reducing their lifetime earnings and tax payments.
The DREAM Act only requires two years of college, no degree is necessary. The income gains for having some college, but no degree, are modest.
Because college dropout rates are high, many illegal immigrants who enroll at public institutions will not complete the two years the act requires, so taxpayers will bear the expense without a long term benefit.
Data Source: The analysis in this report is based on one developed by the Migration Policy Institute, which is based on the 2006 to 2008 Current Population Survey (CPS) collected by the U.S. Census Bureau. We have updated their analysis using the 2009 and 2010 CPS. The above estimates focus on the number of illegal immigrants likely to enroll in state universities or community college. It must be emphasized that it is not an estimate of the number of individuals who are eligible for the DREAM Act amnesty or the number that will ultimately meet all the requirements for permanent residence.
