Rumors have been circling for weeks on Robert’s intentions of running for AZGOP chairman for a second term and that he was contemplating other options...

So I went direct to Robert and received the below response. I hope this puts the rumors to rest.be

Hi Barbara,

Thanks for asking...I appreciate this approach before you go to print.

1.  I WILL be running for state chairman again.  I have every intention to maintain the momentum and successes we are experiencing through the presidential election.

2. RNC Chairman - I have been encouraged by many people in our state and across the nation to consider running for RNC Chairman.  That being said I have no intention to run for RNC Chairman this cycle.  I am totally focused on Arizona for the remainder of this term and the next.

3. As party chairman my number one focus is winning elections this November and getting reelected next January.  I won't answer any hypotheticals regarding our delegation. Hope you understand.
