ALL Arizona Republicans in Maricopa County Hear This
Republican Maricopa County chairman Threatens Precinct Committee:
If they dare not fall lock step in line with the chosen Republican
candidate, regardless of that candidates credentials or policies. Let me be the
first to say HOW DARE YOU threaten a person’s right to choose who to support or
vote for.
In my humble opinion your
political party registration should not discourage you from thinking for
yourself and your party should not expect you to follow like sheep.
The R or D next to your
name on the voter polls isn’t a mandate not to think. There comes a time that
following a party nominee who you know in your heart and head is not the best
candidate for the state. Step up to plate and make your voice heard.
You can do a couple of
things keep your mouth shut, sneak into the voting booth and no one will ever
know how you voted- do I think this is dishonest, no but I think it’s cowardly.
Or you can stand up and be
counted advocating for the best candidate that will be honest and move your
state forward.
Personally I’m going to
advocate for who I have researched and believe to be the most honest
best candidate to govern Arizona, ignoring the Letter next to their name. I’ll
take the hits and whatever names the GOP wants to call me. Do what you feel in your heart to be right–for you’ll
be criticized anyway. Be
Undying loyalty is expected or as a PC you can be stripped of your
right to vote, does that also include walking neighborhoods contributing to
Republican candidates? If you are a PC and have a family member or close friend
that isn’t a Republican are you expected to be supporting the Republican
candidate?
MCRC Chairman A.J. LaFaro Regarding Republicans Endorsing
Non-Republicans - I’ve been
receiving phone calls, v-mails and e-mails complaining about people and groups
of people who say they are Republicans but are endorsing Non-Republican
candidates. Some examples are “GOP for Fred”, “Republicans for Barber”, “GOP
For Felecia”, yard signs, blog postings, websites, campaign contributions.
It’s bad enough these
people endorse RINOs for elected office, but then turn around and endorse
Democrats, Independents and Libertarians over some of our Republican
nominees. I’m as outraged at these so-called Republicans as you
are. We are in the process of trying to identify any Republican PCs
who are endorsing and supporting Non-Republicans, and will be removing
their voting rights and censuring them in accordance to the 2014 MCRC Bylaws. These
individuals will not be eligible to vote in any LD, MCRC or AZGOP election. MCRC_ByLaws - Section 5 – Elections -- B. Endorsements of
Non-Republican Candidates
o No member of the MCRC shall lend an endorsement to a
non-Republican candidate in any election that has a Republican candidate on the
ballot.
o Should a MCRC member endorse a non-Republican,
that MCRC member will lose his voting
privileges, including proxies, for the rest of his term, provided:
o The member was provided written notice mailed via certified US
mail to the member's last known address,
o The members was provided an opportunity to defend himself at the
next EGC meeting but not less than 10 days after notification,
o The EGC by majority vote removed the member's voting rights.
Please forward the names
of any individuals who are Republican PCs but are endorsing Non-Republican
candidates and the evidence to aj_ml@hotmail.com as soon as possible.
