STATE CAPITOL, PHOENIX – House Democratic
Leader Eric Meyer, D-Paradise Valley (District 28), released the following
statement regarding the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors’ decision to
appoint Celeste Plumlee to the Legislative District 26 vacancy in the Arizona
House of Representatives:
“I would like
to congratulate Celeste Plumlee on her appointment to the Arizona House of
Representatives. She has been an outstanding advocate for her community as an
active member of the Arizona Coalition to End Sexual and Domestic Violence and
the City of Tempe Municipal Arts Commission. She certainly will be a strong
voice for District 26 and an excellent addition to the Democratic Caucus. We
look forward to working with her.”
