Amb. John
Bolton, KT McFarland, and M. Zuhdi Jasser To Address Important National Security
Issues at CPAC 2016
Nation’s Largest
Gathering of Conservatives Theme is “Our Time is Now”
Washington, D.C. – American Conservative Union (ACU)
Chairman Matt Schlapp believes that the issues around our security will dominate
the 2016 election and so will be highlighted at CPAC 2016. In accordance with
that, three leading conservative national security experts have confirmed their
participation at the 2016 Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC),
taking place March 2-5, 2016. Former Ambassador John Bolton is a member of
ACU’s Board of Directors. KT McFarland, and Dr. M. Zuhdi Jasser, are Senior
Fellows with the ACU Foundation’s Center for Statesmanship and Diplomacy, and
are among the most well respected experts on issues relating to national
security and foreign policy.“Anybody who listened to President Obama’s evening speech on Sunday knows that this administration has completely lost their grip on foreign policy. This president is clueless when it comes to matters of national security. His failure to understand the threat of the Islamic State makes all of us vulnerable and his lack of action is dangerous,” said Schlapp. “Conservatives have been pushing strong alternatives to Obama’s policies of appeasement toward Cuba, Iran, China, and Russia. These speakers will provide wisdom and guidance for conservative action on these critical issues.” The 2016 CPAC theme “Our Time is Now,” was inspired from President Ronald Reagan’s 1981 CPAC address where he said: “Our time is now. Our moment has arrived. We stand together shoulder to shoulder in the thickest of the fight.” Since 1973, CPAC has been the premiere gathering of conservatives nationwide where the leaders of the conservative movement directly address the American people. The four-day event includes cutting-edge activist training, policy discussions, debates on provocative topics, and speeches from conservative thought-leaders and media personalities. Sponsor, attendee, and student registration is available on our website: www.cpac.org. Register today to secure your ticket to attend and for the latest information about CPAC 2016.
