Recalled Senate President Russell Pearce lands county job-If he wants it

IS THIS CRONYISM?
Maricopa County Treasurer Charles “Hos” Hoskins has offered former Arizona Senate President Russell Pearce the $85,000 a year job overseeing human resources, legislative outreach, budget and senior citizen outreach.
Pearce is not sure he will take the position. If he takes the job does it mean he will be double or triple dipping with his pensions? Heavy tally paid for by taxpayers.

Treasurer Charles “Hos” Hoskins says he offered Pearce the job because he has the experience to jump-start a program to help low-income seniors with their taxes.

Pearce can’t start right away, so Hoskins says it’s unclear if he’ll actually be hired. Maybe Hoskin's should put out a  job request and see who applies.

Pearce previously ran the state Motor Vehicle Division and was a chief deputy Maricopa County sheriff. Pearce was ousted from the senate in a recall election and is now a radio talk show host.
