TEXAS REPUBLICAN VICTORY CENTERS OPEN

Victory Update 2012 San Antonio Victory Center Open, Houston Center Opening Monday, 8/20 U.S. Senator John Cornyn and U.S. Senate Nominee Ted Cruz to Speak With the primary election finally behind us, Victory Chairman and Harris County judge Ed Emmett wasted no time to organize our statewide efforts. This week he met with representatives of most of the state wide office holders as well as the campaign team of the U.S. Senate nominee, Ted Cruz, to review the proposed Victory calender and fundraising plans. Judge Emmett noted that because the run off was delayed until July 31st as opposed to when it was originally scheduled in April, most of Victory's operations and fundraising were unavoidably delayed. The judge noted that the regular major Victory contributors did not want to commit their contributions to Victory until after the July 31st run off was concluded. Fortunately, he has already been able to raise some funds, and there are additional funds pledged. Money raised for Victory 2012 will be spent directly on Get Out The Vote (GOTV) to support all of our candidates. GOTV efforts will include phone banks at the Victory centers, a mail program, as well as recruiting volunteers for targeted races. The judge outlined plans for five Victory centers, dependent upon complete funding, with pending plans to have Victory centers in: Harris County based out of Harris County Republican headquarters, the east Harris County center, Tarrant County center, Bexar County center, and San Patricio center. The Bexar County Victory Center supporting Congressman Canseco’s re-election campaign is up and running. Above are photos from this past Saturday’s phone bank. These callers made hundreds of phone calls to identify potential supporters of Congressman Canseco.
