at a gathering at the home of Dr.Sue Sisley in Scottsdale this evening. I attended this gathering Sue is my
Scottsdale Leadership classmate. There was around 40-50 conservative republicans
who came to support Jennifer.
Jennifer gave us a
little background bio, before she became a member of the Scottsdale School
board she had worked at Bullocks in a managerial position. She was also employed
by Neiman's. contrary to insinuations by Wes Harris leader of the North Phoenix Tea
Party and a Ugenti supporter, Mrs. Petersen has never been a teacher or a
member of a union.
She ran for a position on the school board to make a difference.
She became President of the Scottsdale School preferring to work from the
bottom up on school spending with local schools to increase fiscal accountability and transparency.
Her goal was to improve student
performance. SAT scores have increased and raise academic standards. Which made
Scottsdale schools a model for Arizona.
She will make a good
