One small business leader in Phoenix is already reacting to the Supreme
Court's ruling on Obamacare, and it isn't favorable. Nohl Rosen, who owns
Panther TEK, a Phoenix based computer repair company says the ruling will
indeed add an even bigger burden to the costs small businesses already
face.
"This is definitely a bad day today, not just for Americans but for small
businesses as well. Health care is already way too high and the biggest
expense many of us small business owners face. The decision by the Supreme
Court handed down today could force businesses to either raise prices to
cover health care costs for small business owners and their workers or lay
off employees just to stay afloat," Rosen said
Rosen says because of the new health care law it also could cause some
small businesses to shut down completely, forcing their owners to find new
jobs at bigger companies which has established health care plans for their
workers.
"I worked hard to pursue my dream of being an entrepreneur and now it
seems that's been put in jeopardy because it'll be even harder to afford
health care. Did Obama even consider what this will do to businesses in
this country when he created this plan? Did the Supreme Court even
consider how it would affect us? Apparently, they didn't," Rosen added.
