RNC STATE CHAIRMAN'S MEETING...

Yesterday I attended as a guest of Arizona's National Committeeman Bruce Ash (also as press) the first day of three day meetings that includes Budget, rules and strategy sessions. Bruce is Chairman of the Standing Committee on Rules and I chose his committee as the first to attend.

He did an outstanding job of facilitating the meeting. I have to admit the subject matter was as exciting as watching paint dry however he kept everyone's attention and the meeting was run professionally.

For my first ever of attending an RNC meeting of National Committeeman from every state including Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, Northern Marianas, Guam, American Samoa were all invited. Guest chose which committee to attend in the Rules committee there were 39 states represented which changed as people came and left. I was impressed with the content and materials that were available to attendee's.

The evening ended with a Sunset Reception with Arizona Governor Brewer and Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Preibus as the  speakers.  Note: my take the RNC isn't spending money on luncheons, dinners or receptions every event that is not a meeting sessions you buy a ticket to attend. As an aside I lost my shoes...I chose to wear heels and by the end of the day my feet were hurting so I took my shoes off to walk barefoot to my car...left my shoes on top of the truck while I unlocked the car and had a senior moment and drove off with them still on the top of trunk..It's OK they hurt my feet...Today I wear flats...
