$82.7 billion in this 2-year budget cycle, up from the $81.1 billion being
spent. The result: $1.6 billion in surplus.
- Texas closed the 2010-2011 budget
cycle with a General Revenue balance of $1.1 billion.
- Texas' Economic Stabilization
Fund (ESF), or Rainy Day Fund, is now projected to have $7.321 billion
at the end of the 2-year budget cycle.
