CONGRESS ANOTHER CRISIS, ANOTHER FAILURE...

Quote "The Super Committee's" failure to perform is not a surprise most Americans never expected then to do their job, Americans have come to expect them to be a no do nothing group of elected representatives.
·        If Moses had operated through committees the Israelites never would have got across the Red Sea.
·       A committee is a group that keeps the minutes and loses hours.
·       A committee was formed not to find a solution but to protect the Congress.

Members of the "super committee" charged with coming up with $1.2 trillion in budget cuts are focused on how to announce failure to reach a deal, Democratic and Republican aides confirmed to CNN Sunday. NEVER DID THEY INTEND TO REACH AN AGREEMENT. RAISING YOUR TAXES IS THE BOTTOM LINE.
There was a pervasive feeling throughout the country that they would not find a solution.
That the committee was formed to appease the masses into believing that Medicare and military spending would be saved.
While aides said no final decision had been made, they acknowledged that barring an unforeseen development, an announcement of no deal is likely.
Talks on trying to reach a deficit reduction agreement are essentially over and discussions are focused on a Monday announcement, a senior Democratic aide said. Rick Perry is correct their pay needs to be cut in half or less until they can do the job they were voted to do.
To stave off automatic spending cuts known as a sequester, the super committee was tasked with proposing ways to reduce deficits by at least $1.2 trillion over 10 years. At least seven of its 12 members would have to approve a plan in order to send it to the House and Senate in the form of legislation. You did notice those most affected are seniors and our national security. Never does Congress talk about cutting foreign aid and infrastructure building in foreign countries. Always punish the US Citizen.
Then, both chambers would vote on the bill without amendment by December 23. For the plan to pass, a simple majority in each chamber would have to vote in favor.
Failure to pass any agreement could result in $1.2 trillion in automatic spending cuts across much of the federal budget starting in 2013, evenly divided between defense and nondefense spending. Defense Secretary Leon Panetta warned Congress this week that such cuts could cripple the American military establishment. WITH EACH PARTY BLAMING THE OTHER AND NEITHER FOR TAKING RESPONSIBILITY.
Since Congress made the law governing the sequester, it can also amend or repeal it, as some lawmakers are suggesting. Like many of the laws Congress makes un Constitutional.
