The Texas Model

The Texas Public Policy Foundation defends/promotes the Texas Model with some great
numbers and figures:
"we’ve used statistics covering 2001-2011, 2003-2007, and 2000-2009. But the results are all the same: states that use the Texas Model, or we could say, states that follow the American Dream, are the states whose citizens experience the greatest prosperity."
Governor Perry's record on jobs and the economy in Texas is why he is by far the best candidate in the race. No other candidate can offer such a stunning contrast with Obama on the most critical issue of the day.
RELATED: 90% of Americans think the U.S. economy stinks.
ALSO RELATED: Newsbusters, meanwhile, found that 77% of national network stories on jobs omitted the national unemployment rate. Josh Trevino of the Texas Public Policy Foundation notes that national media stories focused on the Texas model (which is not the same as stories focused on Governor Rick Perry, specifically) are running almost 10-to-1 negative, despite Texas being essentially the only job-creating state in recent years.
