Having seen Governor Perry in person at 8:00 A.M. in the morning give a speech the allegations that he is "drunk" have to be blatantly false. He is a dynamite speaker, he spoke for a good thirty minutes without a note. After this video and the comments by the media pundits I called my family in Texas and asked them if there was ever a hint that Perry was a heavy drinker..Got a resounding NO that he hung out with group that went hunting and fishing with never a hint of scandal that they had heard about.
It’s his energy and passion that’s been missing from the debates. He has been far more fired up over the years. Especially at Tea Party rallies and large Republican gatherings, with as many as seven standing ovations. .

Nope, he doesn't scare liberals at all. If he wins the Republican primary President Obama will have his ass for breakfast all the way to November 2012.
