NEW HAMPSHIRE DEBATE..

Cross posted from my friend Peter who lives in Massachusetts and drove to New Hampshire to cover the debate. Peter has a radio show on WCRN. Peter is coming to Phoenix to specifically be a guest on Hair on Fire November 9th.

Da TechGuy in DaSpin Room

October 12th, 2011

Once the debate was over the candidates and/or their proxies went to the “spin” area to make their cases. Since that’s where I parked my self after I updated my blog and twitter feed I jumped in:
General spin room just after debate:
Herman’s Cain’s spinner he had the line of the night: “Cain drove the debate.”
Romney’s spinner was pleased as well he should be:
Bachmann’s rep seemed a tad unsure of himself although her performance was her best since the last NH one
Rick Perry’s man should have played the Karen Tumulty card, I set him up to do so, but he didn’t
At this point I did a quick pan of the room
But shortly after in came Herman Cain and the Mob rush was on, if you judge by media interest there is no question that Cain won the debate:
The fedora really came in handy here, Mr. Cain recognized me and answered my question concerning driving the debate, it was at that point that I ran to the laptop to start uploading video. (BTW note to MSM candidates are more likely to give you time if you gave them time when they were down in the polls)
As the files were importing and uploading I saw Howard Finemann talking to Debbie Wasserman Schultz, he seemed very peeved that I was recording and asked who I was recording for. It’s good to have a radio show on WCRN.
Ms. Wasserman Schultz was a bit surprised by my Cuba question, but it was a favor to both of us. It was a friendly question but it took her off message, AND reinforced a the difference between her and her caucus.
She is dead wrong on a lot but people on the right side of Cuba and tyranny should be encouraged and complemented for it.
Next came Gingrich’s man, I don’t know if I was off a bit or he was but it didn’t seem to flow
And then Rick Santorum in person, he agreed with my point that it was a bad night for Obama
Too bad so few people saw it on Bloomberg, I finished with Ron Paul’s guy
There is no question that Romney will win NH but don’t be surprised if Paul comes in second, a lot of people in this state like him.
I got a shot of Jon Huntsman

but didn’t get close enough for a question. That’s my bad, but he was the least important person there since the only voters that might have changed to Mitt from the Christie endorsement were his.
