IOWA CITY, Iowa—
A second former
staffer for Herman Cain's presidential campaign in Iowa
has been granted unemployment benefits.
Cain's Iowa director Tina Goff of Johnston resigned June 30 along with others who were upset with campaign strategy. An administrative law judge last week granted Goff's appeal for unemployment benefits after the campaign declined to contest her claim. A campaign lawyer stipulated that Goff was eligible, which means she quit for good reason

The campaign's former Iowa straw poll coordinator, Kevin Hall,
was earlier granted benefits. He testified he quit after it became clear Cain
would not spend as much time campaigning in Iowa as Hall had been promised and
alleged he was asked to mislead supporters about the role of an adviser who is
gay.
