Elizabeth Dreckman serves as President and Executive Director of Arizona School Choice Trust.  Elizabeth has worked in the world of education reform and school choice for over a decade.  She previously served as Development and Outreach Manager for the Alliance for School Choice and American Federation for Children, and outreach coordinator for the Institute for Justice. She also has fundraised, conducted education research, authored education studies and has planned events for many other think tanks and State Policy Network organizations. Liz has an honors degree in political theory and constitutional democracy from James Madison College at Michigan State University.

ASCT is Arizona's oldest and most experienced scholarship organization, we were founded in 1993.  We were first a private scholarship organization and now administrate both the individual and corporate tax credit dollars.  All of our scholarship recipients have a clear financial need for the scholarship, and we have very strict rules - well above what the law requires - for how our organization is run.  We take our responsibility to our donors very seriously and less than 10 percent of our funds are spent on administration.

Arizona ranks 34th in the country for graduation rates, only 68% of our students graduate from high school.  And only 56 cents on the dollar spent on education in Arizona ever makes it into the classroom. For more information, folks can visit www.taxcreditsforkids.org or www.asct.org to learn more about their options.
