MEMORIES 2010
Barbara's Mitzvah for the year 2010: "Tom"
I started helping him with some paper work in February.
In July he was admitted to the hospital with pneumonia.
Again in November, he had two major surgeries
and was in ICU for 16 days. Every day during my visit of his
stay in ICU my thoughts were he showed such grit and determination
to live. Mitzvah is a good deed; I was there for the duration lending all
the moral support I could. I do believe death nipped at his heels and
through prayer and modern medicine he is almost back to his ole' self.
As we enter into 2011 I would like to share some of my memories of 2010 with you. The ones that took my breath away and the ones that made me sad. Stroll down memory lane with me.....

My year didn't begin the way I expected the person that was to have spent time with me called and said: I decided to head north..I later discovered he had a date in San Diego on New Years Eve and didn't have the junk to tell the truth. (It was months before I found out). Good memories started the first couple of weeks in January. With my trip to Washington,D.C.

Washington Marriott Wardman Park
CPAC 2010 Conference Headquarters.

Red State was hosting a bloggers lounge at CPAC in Washington, DC in January and I was approved to receive a bloggers pass (press). They check your new media blog to make sure you are conservative, at least I think that's the reason. I was over-whelmed that my application was accepted.
