{Congress} The House of Representatives, Democrats have been
the majority for about 46 of the last 60 years since 1950. The Senate
 has been controlled by the Democrats for about 40 of those 60 years.
 The Democrats have controlled at least one or the other of the
2 branches over 50 of the 60 years. The Democrats have controlled
both Houses since 2007 - Exactly the period of the current Economic
 collapse from an all time "high" in July 2007.. The only time there has
 been a balanced budget was when Newt Gingrich was Speaker, howeve
r Clinton got the credit because he was President.
It wasn't Bush who put America into this Economic Mess .
It was the Democrats debacle with their monetary policies .

3. The Financial Services Modernization Act of 1999 signed by Bill Clinton
The Republicans did try to repeal parts of 2 and 3 back in '03 and '05 but was shot down by Democrats.
