JOHN McCAIN ON IMMIGRATION
Senator McCain admitted to the Arizona Daily Star editorial board on April 1st that in losing the presidential election,he lost the battle for protecting Arizonans and the American people starting at the U.S.-Mexicanborder.  John McCain Immigration Policy In an interview published today, the Star questioned John McCain on his plan to secure the border. McCain's response was, "If I were President, I would have come forward with a proposal. And people keep coming to me and saying 'what's your proposal?' And I say, 'look, I lost the election.'" McCain has criticized Congress for failing to secure the border which prompted the Star to ask the senator, "What have you done to secure the border?"
McCain's response? "Not enough." A majority of Arizonians and Americans feel exactly the same way. After 28 years in Washington as a Senator McCain had the power to introduce bills, that could bring solutions to the problem and during that time one and only thing John McCain has not waffled on was AMESTY. In the 28 years John McCain was not powerless to secure the border he was unwilling
SENATOR McCAIN'S CHANGING POSITIONS ON IMMIGRATION
1. McCain was a co-sponsor of the DREAM Act, which would grant legal status to illegal immigrants’ kids who graduate from high school. In 2007, he announced his opposition to the bill. In 2008, McCain switched back.
2. On immigration policy in general, McCain announced in February 2008 that he would vote against his own bill.
3. In April, McCain promised voters that he would secure the borders “before proceeding to other reform measures.” Two months later, he abandoned his public pledge, pretended that he’d never made the promise in the first place, and vowed that a comprehensive immigration reform policy has always been, and would always be, his “top priority.”
McCain Proposes Amnesty Again AND Again
John McCain claims his many years in the Inner Circle of the Washington elite make him qualified candidate to be the Senator from Arizona.
Who is in McCain's Inner Circle?
When it comes to Illegal Immigration, La Raza and the Democrats are part of the McCain inner sanctum.
McCain, LaRaza and the Democrats are all in when it comes to the quest to grant Illegals Amnesty
Who is LaRaza? The Amnesty Lobby! (So much for curbing special interests, Senator McCain!)
Do you remember the McCain-Kennedy
Comprehensive Immigration Reform Bill? Do you remember the last time John McCain tried to force Amnesty on America? That was back in 2007...
• ...After 12 to 40 million illegal aliens had invaded the U.S. from across the Mexican border, John McCain proposed Amnesty!
• ...When the economy crashed, causing the largest recession and loss of jobs since the Great Depression, John McCain proposed Amnesty (and is still pushing for illegals to come to America and take the jobs that U.S. citizens desperately need.)!
• ...And as the flow of drugs from South America and Mexico across the U.S. border increased to record levels, John McCain proposed Amnesty!

McCain's record of National and "Border IN security" continues even today. According to Homeland Security's own reports, thousands of people from 14 "special interest" countries with links to terrorism have already come into the United States illegally.
...The REAL John McCain is clear on his Amnesty position.
When John McCain proposed S1433, the McCain-Kennedy Comprehensive Immigration Reform Bill, he promised America: "Amnesty has to be an important part."
...and John McCain hasn't backed down from that position. After losing his presidential campaign to Barack Obama, he immediately tried to broker a new peace with the Obama White House by pledging to work with the president to pass Amnesty.
And, just days ago, John McCain badly pretended to be surprised when he questioned Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano in a committee hearing: "...People could come up through our southern border?" and she truthfully responded, "Potentially, yes."
It is outrageous that McCain could even pretend to be surprised when Napolitano continued and said of illegals crossing the border, "On the human trafficking side, it's not solely illegal immigrants coming to work, but the ability of people from countries of special interest to immigrate into Central America and be ferried up to the border and over into the United States."
The bottom line is we just can't trust John McCain on Amnesty. We just can't take another chance! As long as John McCain is determined to be La Raza's voice in Washington for Amnesty and open borders, he can never be our voice! When John McCain proposed his Amnesty Plan-the Heritage Foundation said it would cost taxpayers $2.6 Trillion-
Senators McCain and Kyl’s Ten Point Border Security Action Plan
1. Immediately deploy 3,000 National Guard Troops along the Arizona/Mexico border, along with appropriate surveillance platforms, which shall remain in place until the Governor of Arizona certifies, after consulting with state, local and tribal law enforcement, that the Federal Government has achieved operational control of the border. Permanently add 3,000 Custom and Border Protection Agents to the Arizona/Mexico border by 2015.
2. Fully fund and support Operation Streamline in Arizona’s two Border Patrol Sectors to, at a minimum, ensure that repeat illegal border crossers go to jail for 15 to 60 days. Where Operation Streamline has been implemented, the number of illegal crossings has decreased significantly. Require the Obama Administration to complete a required report detailing the justice and enforcement resources needed to fully fund this program. Fully reimburse localities for any related detention costs.
3. Provide $100M, an increase of $40M, for Operation Stonegarden, a program that provides grants and reimbursement to Arizona’s border law enforcement for additional personnel, overtime, travel and other related costs related to illegal immigration and drug smuggling along the border.
4. Offer Hardship Duty Pay to Border Patrol Agents assigned to rural, high-trafficked areas, such as the CBP Willcox and Douglas Stations in the Tucson Sector.
5. Complete the 700 miles of fencing along the border with Mexico and construct double- and triple- layer fencing at appropriate locations along the Arizona-Mexico border.
6. Substantially increase the 25 mobile surveillance systems and three Predator B Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) in place today along the Arizona/Mexico border and ensure the border patrol has the resources necessary to operate the UAVs 24 hours a day seven days a week. Send additional fixed-wing aircraft and helicopters to the Arizona-Mexico Border.
7. Increase funding for vital radio communications and interoperability between CBP and state, local, and tribal law enforcement to assist in apprehensions along the border.
8. Provide funding for additional Border Patrol stations in the Tucson Sector and explore the possibility of an additional Border Patrol sector for Arizona. Create six additional permanent Border Patrol Forward Operating Bases, and provide funding to upgrade the existing bases to include modular buildings, electricity and potable water. Complete construction of the planned permanent checkpoint in Arizona. Deploy additional temporary roving checkpoints and increase horse patrols throughout the Tucson Sector.
9. Require the Federal government to fully reimburse state and local governments for the costs of incarcerating criminal aliens. Start by at least funding the State Criminal Alien Assistance Program (SCAAP) at its authorized level of $950 million.
10. Place one full-time Federal Magistrate in Cochise County and provide full funding for and authorization of the Southwest Border Prosecution Initiative to reimburse state, county, tribal, and municipal governments for costs associated with the prosecution and pre-trial detention of federally-initiated criminal cases declined by local offices of the United States Attorneys.
