It's all about respect


They didn't look very dangerous to me.
On April 18th Bill Clinton suggested the tea parties "create a climate" that makes a Tim McVeigh more likely to act.
Yet four days earlier the atmosphere on the Boston Common was festive not angry. People had come from all over the state and beyond as they united in making their point about taxes, spending and government responsibility.
Where a year ago divided events drew 800-1500 people and almost no coverage, this time local and international media deployed in the wee hours to report the news from Boston Common.
And there was news. 10,000 strong took time on a beautiful Wednesday to welcome the Tea Party Express and Sarah Palin. Many had never gotten involved before, but the Scott Brown Election and the healthcare bill that drove it changed the paradigm, arousing and empowering like minded people in this bluest of states.
