I have arrived in Washington, DC to cover the Tea Party Express and Freedom Works for the April 15 march in protest of the Obama’s administration policies. When I need to go into a care facility I’m opting to stay at the Embassy Suites. Checked in last night cocktails served ordered dinner chef called to make sure I liked everything this morning breakfast cooked to order maid arrived to clean make the bed life is good.
Tonight is the big Smittypalooza at the Army/Navy Club with my blogger buds that will be a hoot and a few off color stories. These guys/gals are the smartest New Media columnist around and it’s always very informative plus fun. It’s my second time to be invited and they can’t believe a senior blogs. Needless to say I’m honored to be invited.
On April 15th they will all take to the streets gathering the latest tidbits of information they can glean from their sources. Twitter and the blogs will be humming across America and copied by the MSM adding their spin. It was the New Media who exposed some of the most corrupt happenings of our time. Prime examples are the infamous blu dress that eventually led to Clinton’s impeachment and Acorn being exposed. This is a group dedicated to investigative reporting. They are young and Love America it’s does an ole’ soul good to be around them. Gives one hope for the future of our country. BE
