During the Great Depression in the 1930’s, President Herbert Hoover ordered the Mexican Repatriation deportation of illegal aliens to make jobs available to American citizens who desperately needed work.
In 1951, President Harry Truman ordered 2 million illegal aliens to be deported in order to create jobs for returning veterans.
And, then again in 1954, President Dwight Eisenhower deported 13 million Mexican nationals in a program called ‘Operation Wetback’. It took two years, but they deported them from California, Arizona and Texas so that World War II and Korean veterans had a better chance at jobs. http://google.com/
